KTR evinces interest in Clean Tech Incubator


HYDERABAD: IT minister KT Rama Rao, who is touring  the United States (US), visited Clean Tech Incubator iHub in California State.
iHub houses startups working in the field of clean technology and non-conventional energy sources. Rama Rao has shown interest in innovations in clean technology and interacted with the startup founders and young researchers at iHub.

“While a plastic glass takes about 450 to 1,000 years to degrade, bio-degradable glass takes just six months. Clean technology innovations like these are very much essential for protecting environment. This clean technology initiative will be of great help in making Hyderabad plastic- free. We will take steps to introduce these clean technology initiatives even in Telangana,” Rama Rao said speaking on the occasion.
Rama Rao has been travelling in popular electric car Tesla during his US visit. Innovated by young engineer and innovator Elon Musk, Tesla car has been a sensation now.
In a press statement issued by Telangana Secretariat, KTR said that Elon Musk and Tesla are inspiration for young entrepreneurs, inventors, startups in Hyderabad. ‘’We will try to create same atmosphere even at THub,’’ he said.
